Birds just don't sound right anymore,

buds and flowers seem to wither,

things just don't seem right anymore

since we haven't got each other.

Loneliness?

How long will it remain?

"Oh God it makes me shutter

since you've been gone

my hearts not the same,

barely seems to flutter.
If I could change the way things are,

if I could wish upon a star.

I wish I could be where you are

then we'd have each other.
Then life to me would seem worth while

just to see your tender smile,

and hold you close once in a while

then we'd be together

then we'd have each other..
